Connection with server failed Hit F5 to retry

We are trying to configure new backup jobs and are getting the "connection with server failed Hit F5 to retry" error.  The server has been rebooted as well as the media library.  It appears that the existing jobs are running and restore's are ok, just can't add new ones.  Need to get this resolved asap, thanks for your help.

I have the same problem.
I found that link that seems a similar problem http://seer.support.veritas.com/docs/191824.htm but this doens't apply to our version.
Does someone have a clue?

You need to log on with the specific backup account, launch BE and go through the short wizard to setup the logon account, then you will be able to see the "resources".

At my company we use a support account to manage the domain and a separate backup account to run the BE services.  I had never actually logged onto the server with the backup account so a profile was never created. Once I logged onto the server with the backup account I could actually pick a resource.
