Copy Jobs/Catalogs to another server

I am seting up a new 11D Server and not sure on how to move all the needed information from the old server (11D) to the new one.

I am assuming that I just need to move the Jobs and Catalogs or are there other settings I need to move.

I have read about using the BEutility.exe, but once I opened it I am not sure what I am looking at in it.

Please Advise or point me to a good document that would help.

For the catalogs, just copy them to the new server and stop/start BackupExec

Found the proper way to do this:

1. As informed from other sources you can just copy the Catalog Folder from one server to another

2. To copy the Database files you First need to Open the BEUtility.exe from the Symantec Folder and Stop the Servers.

3. With the Services Stopped you can copy the Database File and Log File from the Symantec/Data Folder to your new server

4. Once you have the two file copied to your new server you need to run the BEUtility from the new server and copy the Database and Log File into the new server

As you server name is changing after you copy the database from one server to another you have to run a command to change the servername inside the database.
