Copying data from backups to external USB drive

We have BE 2010 R3 SP4. We would like to have a job runs immediately after the backup job to copy it to an external USB drive. Are there any procedures on how to do that?

(I am fairly new to this area of BE)

You should not just copy backup sets. You should always duplicate them. The easiest way to do this is to use a policy with a backup template and a duplicate template

Ok. I have no clue on how to do that. Do you know or are the steps online to configure it to duplicate?
