Corrupt mail message creates backup failure condition

One of our user's mailbox HAD a message in it that Veritas identified as being corrupt. We have permanently deleted the message from the mailbox, but Backup Exec continues to fail the job and identify the mailbox as containing the message (but it IS gone). I have rebooted both the client-side PC that manages the mailbox AND the exchange server where the mailbox physically resides, but the failure condition continues.

How do I correct the failure condition and prevent the software from advising me that a message that no longer exists in the mailbox can't be backed up?

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated!

Shaun.

Hi,

I would like to know the exact error message that occurs in the job log when the backup job fails.

Please copy - paste the error code along with the error message.

Thanks.
