DLO DCOM disabling outlook windows from launching.

Hello All,

I've run into a interesting problem with our DLO agent version 2010 with outlook2k7.  What appears to be happening is that when the DCOM is enable in outlook it prevents the windows task bar from opening outlook windows.  When we disable the DLO DCOM outlook starts working fine again.  This is the only workstation that is demonstrating this problem.

Machine is running Windows XP service pack 3 with office 2k7 SP2.

Please let me know if anyone has run into this problem and successfully resolve this issue?

Is that the case with every user when you log on to that winxpsp3 machine while dlo dcom is enabled the outlook hungs

Also u can verify if it is the port issue when you enable dcom may be there is port conflict which u can verify by using netstat -a -o

& then in task manager using process id you can check if there is any issue with port conflict
