I am using MS SQL as the Database store for backup exec 10d. I notice that it runs a select against the database every 2 minutes.

SELECT * FROM dbo.DataPartition

What is this for?
Is it necessary?
Can I control the interval?

Hello,

It is recommended not to access the Backup Exec database.
