I need to restore an SQL database to another server.
What is the difference beetwen "Microsoft SQL File Redirection" and "Archive Redirection" ?
Both options allow me restore a database in another sql .
Thanks.

Archive re-direction applies in cases when you are using either file archiving or the exchange archiving option & you want to configure restore options for such backup sets...
SQL re-direction applies when you want to redirect, i.e. restore SQL backup sets to a different location than where it was backed up from...
EDIT---
Have a look at this KB - http://www.symantec.com/docs/HOWTO23805
This mentions Archive re-direction redirects the restore of the Archiving Option Directory database to a different SQL Server.
