Current backup is BE 9.x running on W2K. I implemented a new Ex2K3 on W2K3. The Backup Exec agent backs up the Exchange databases using a (Microsoft) snapshot. How can I disable the Exchange database backups from using a snapshot? Can I keep the snapshot turned on for the "regular" data files or is it a 'all or nothing' snapshot of the volume?
Go to the Job properties-"Settings" > "Advanced Open File". Check whether the option has selected. If so, deselect the option and then try the backups again.
