Wonder if anyone has tried to implent this:
What we have to 2 sites
Site 1: 1xCASO and 1xMMS
Site 2: 1xMMS
"Site 1" is the production site and "Site 2" is the BCP/DR site.
What we want do achive is to have the catalog replicated for all MMS to the BCP site so that in the event of a disaster we dont have to waste time on cataloging tapes that were created in "Site 1"
Has anyone achieved this?
Currently the Catalogs are set to replicate between the MMS and CASO server, but like I said if the CASO goes down at Site 1, then we have no access to Catalog in Site 2 to perform restores...
