Dlttape-Vrts message

Configuration :
Windows 2000 server SP4 media server
Backup Exec 9.1 with SP1
Storagetek library L80 with 4 DLT 8000
Each time I reboot the media server, I have message "At least one service couldn't start...
Checking Even log, I have an entry with ID 7026 and message : The followin Boot-Start or system-start driver(s) failed to load. DltTape-Vrts. Could you help identifying what to do to correct this issue.

Run C:\program files\veritas\backup exec\nt\tapeinst.exe

Choose the option to remove all Veritas drivers, also check the option to delete registry entries for unknown drives (or something of the sort) - finish the wizard and reboot.

Run tapeinst.exe again - choose to install Veritas tape device drivers - reboot.

The error should have gone away.

Hi,

After uninstalling the Veritas driver, re-instlal the latest Veritas drivers. Refer to the following link:
