Do we need to back up Symantec Antivirus tmp files?

Hi all,

Our backup skips on C:\Program Files\Symantec AntiVirus\SAVRT\0801NAV~.TMP

I'd assume that we don't need to back up such tmp files as they're related to real-time operations, it's the config we need to back up.

Just want to confirm it. If I could get a straight answer from Symantec support themselves, I'd be grateful (and surprised).

I always have them skipped (completed with exceptions). I've run successful Disaster Recovery tests on servers, with no complaints from SAV. It looks like it can cope just fine without them being backed up (as you'd hope!)
