My company is at a decision point, to whether to purchase Symantec Backup Exec as a Backup solution or not.
We actually want to use the Backup Exec to backup Windows, Exchange, VMware, and Oracle backup files on HP-UX.
The only support that I am not finding at Symantec is for HP-UX IA64. I only need the remote agent on HP-UX to copy offline Oracle files from HP-UX to tape library.
Does anybody know if Symantec Backup Exec has support for HP-UX IA64, version 11iv3?
