Make sure you have made the selection from the Domino database node..

Refer the following documents

NSF formatted database are supported. The Lotus/DB2 database format is currently not supported. Please check the SCL for Backup Exec 2010 from here http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH73057

also set the following registry key in place

HKLM/Software\Symantec/backup Exec for Windows/Backup Exec/Engine/Domino"

Setting the "Enable Notes Database Filtering" to 1 would cause only the non-Domino databases to be excluded from the browse view and all the Domino databases whether good/corrupt/inaccessible would remain included

Glad someone else has this.

We are running Domino 7 on 3 servers

Backup working fine on BExec 2010, but when I upgrade to R2 version, I get the error above. On all 3 servers. Some are backed up by using remote agents some are local on the backup server. But the error always relates to the upgrade to R2.

The error still comes up, even if I exclude the c:\windows\assembly dir from the backup selection list.

The real irritation (and urgency) is that because Lotus sees this as a failed backup, it doesn't clear down the transaction log files, meaning that these are increasing every day and causing us some problems with disk space.

You can unselect these files/folders from domino database selection. These are not domino databases and can be easily excluded to make sure this kind of errors dont happen.

Thanks

You must have missed this bit in my first post

"The error still comes up, even if I exclude the c:\windows\assembly dir from the backup selection list. "

I see now. These directories are backed up in the normal C drive, and also in the Domino Databases on the C: drive.

I have now deselected in both and will see how we get on.
