I've researched this problem on the support pages here, but I believe our problem is different. I'm trying to set up MAPI email notification whenever the backup job completes, but test notifications don't even work (much less the actual notifications). I've created a windows account and exchange email profile/account specifically for backup_exec, and this is the account that the server is logged in as when backup exec runs. The backup exec services are set up to run under a different administrative account, which also has the same exchange profile set up on it. I'm probably missing something here, but I can't figure out what. The Email Setup window in backup exec does not give me any error messages, and the email accounts are all verified and OK when I click check names. Any thoughts?
