Empty Exchange Mailboxes

I thought I'd sorted out my exchange SBS2003 backups, but looking at a restore, I notcied that all of the Inbox's within the backup were 0Kb.

Then when I go and look at the Selection, I see all the mailoxes chosen, but they all show as 0Kb there as well.

Whats going on ?

This is the normal behavior of Backup Exec you will not be able to see the exact size of the mailbox, try running a backup job and check for byte counts, summary information. Once the backup is done you can also check in the Job Logs.

Thanks, I did see the byte increase.

So does it allow you to retrieve individual emails, or just whole boxes?? I guess the latter, if you can't select the emails.

- If you are restoring the mailboxes you can also restore the single emails.
