Error 0xe000846b during backup of a linuxserver via RALUS agent

Hello.

I just manually installed the RALUS agent on a Mandriva 10.2 distribution runing on an AMD64 (linux is 64bit version)

Now I am able to browse the server from backupexec, BUT when backing up the machine I get:

Final error: 0xe000846b - The resource could not be backed up because an error occurred while connecting to the Backup Exec for Windows Servers Remote Agent.
Make sure that the Remote Agent is installed on the target computer and is running.
Final error category: Resource Errors



When checking the knowledgebase here all I can see is info about oracle, but I do not have an oracle agent, not even an oracle server.

How to fix this problem?

Hi,

Please ensure that the version of Unix/Linux that you are using is listed in the software compatibility list given below

http://support.veritas.com/docs/264484

If the linux server is not listed in the compatibility list then we do no guarantee the functioning of the linux server with Backup Exec.
