Hello Folks,

I've a problem. One of my Windows 2008 Foundation Server has since 2 weeks problems with

the backup. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I'm running Backup Exec System Recovery 2010

an the Backup is written to RD1000 from Dell. It worked fine for a 1 year.

ERROR E7B70005: Snapshot error ERROR EBAB03F1: OS-Fehler 2.147.754.774..

ERROR E7B70005: Snapshot error %1.

The guys from Dell said, it is a Software Bug.

Did anybody of you have an idea what I can do with this problem?

Best regards

Backup Exec System Recovery and Symantec System Recovery are part of a different product range from Backup Exec and therefore have their own forum, as such you might need to post this question in the correct forum.

Thanks,

I moved it to the other forum:

The cluster size of all HDDs is  4k / 4096 so the issue from RahulG seems not to match.

Now I found out that the backup job is running when I reboot the system an start the backup job.

Currently it is running.

best regards
