Hello Folks,
I've a problem. One of my Windows 2008 Foundation Server has since 2 weeks problems with
the backup. Sometimes it works sometimes not. I'm running Backup Exec System Recovery 2010
an the Backup is written to RD1000 from Dell. It worked fine for a 1 year.

The guys from Dell said, it is a Software Bug.
Did anybody of you have an idea what I can do with this problem?
The cluster size of all HDDs is 4k / 4096

Windows 2008 Foundation is not supported with BESR 2010. It is supported with SSR 2011. Please refer to the SCL links below:

that means that DELL sold a not supported Product to us?
Do you thinks that causes the errors? because it work 1 year fine!

It looks that way, yes.

I'm not saying that is the reason for the errors. I'm just telling you that it's not supported with BESR 2010 so you wont be able to get support from Symantec until you upgrade to SSR 2011 - that would be my recommendation to you.
