Error during backups with W3SVC

In the past week the backups which we have set to run at night are failing. The only thign set to run at this time is BE. Basically what happens is about and hour to 90 minutes into the backup a loop will start in the system log like this

Although the process ID is always different. That basically locks down the machine and it needs to be rebooted. What we are backing up is system drive, Exchange, Exchange Public folders and System state. THese jobs werent modified and no new software was installed before this began. Any help would be appreciated. Just curious if anyone has seen this before.

Hi,

To isolate the cause of the issue kindly check the results after performing a backup using the Windows NTBACKUP utility.

If the same issue occurs then it might be a windows operating system issue.


But if the issue only persists while running backup exec
then kindly revert back with necessary information.
Try to run a small backup job and check the results.
