Exabyte auto loader

I have been unable to get the loader to use the media in the media set. it seems to just pick the first thing it finds. I am useing the barcodes and i have the general setting to overwrite recyclable media in target media set before useing scratch media.

What is the media overwrite protection level Tools|Options|settings|Media Management ? do not use 'None'.

ok after i changed it to partial do i have to to configure overwrite protection on each media set as well?

I believe you will.
I think the overwrite protection will go to infinite for your defined media sets if the global protection is moved from 'none' to 'partial'.
