Exchange 2003 snapshot error

Our company recently moved our Exchange 2003 information stores to a SCSI storage server. Now when we go to do a backup, this error occurs:

Completed status: Failed
Final error: 0xe000031b - Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 supports snapshot technology for entire storage groups only. Snapshots of individual
databases are not supported. Update the backup job and try again.
Final error category: Resource Errors

You have encountered the following error

Now, if you want to take a snapshot backup of Exhcnage server database then you should keep tese things in mind:

• snapshot backup of exchange is supported only for Exchange 2003 or later i.e. 2007
• individual mailbox or database snapshot backup is not supported.

So, in order to take the snapshot backup of Exchange Server database select whole information store means all the storage groups that comes under the Information store.
