Exchange Public Folders backup account cannot access

I have a back up job that runs under the backupexec account that has permission to access the public folders but within the job set up, backup exec does not allow that account access.  I can login and access public folders on the exchange server, backup exec has full access.  Anyone have any idea why this account cannot back up the public folders?

I have the same problem with our exchange 2003 server in combination with backupexec 10d. I discover that you must give the default user under client promission minmum read acces. When you do this you can select de folder in backupexec. The new problem is that all users in your domain see the folder in there outlook client. Has someone a suggestion to solve that problem? We have alot of publicfolders so it is no option to make them all visable to al users in our domain.
