Exchange Store Restore Not Showing All Mailboxes

Backup Exec 11d (Hotfix 2, Hotfix 6) (non-trial w/ Exchange License)
Windows 2003 SP1
Exchange 2003 SP2

Hello,

I did a back-up of my Exchange 2003 store. On the job, I selected the "Enable the restore of individual mail messages and folders from information store backups" option for my backups. Total users are about 300. The store backup size looks correct at about 145gb.

The problem is, when I go to run a restore job, the restore selection lists only about 20 users from the backups. The rest of the users are not visible on the selection list. :( Job completed status: successful

I wanted to make another to help this get visability. Seems others are having the same issue. Does anyone know what may be going on here? I really need to be able to restore from these backups.......

I have the same problem with 2 different server on 2 different domain.

Hi Charles,

Please create a new account in the AD and assign it the domain admins and local admin rights,create a mailbox and activate it by sending emails to this account.

Try connecting to the mailboxes by right clicking on the store and say Connect as.
