Hi,

Please refer to the following documents:

"The directory is invalid" (a000fe09 HEX or e000fe09 HEX) is reported when a backup job fails

http://support.veritas.com/docs/266179

A backup operation fails with the error message: "Directory not found. Can not back up directory <\directory> and its subdirectories" or "The directory is invalid."

http://support.veritas.com/docs/207001

Hope it helps!!

Erik,

What happens is that if you make any changes to the mailbox backups within the GUI, such as unchecking a deactivated user, a lot of text entries are made. If a mailbox is later deleted from AD, the text entry will still be there. Hope this helps you understand how it happened.
