Hello all,

I need exclude one of more vhd from my backup. I use a backup from Hyper-V host server. If I set exclude one (or all) vhd, BE2012 ignores it :( I have installed the client for GRT. Can you help me somebody?

Thanx

If you have GRT enabled , it means you need to backup the complete VM/VMDK . And later you can perfrom a Grnular restore of the files you want.

Yes, I know, but one of vhd is a passive legal DB and I do not need it back up him. But I think for DRP is better to backup the whole machine from the host. What to do?

You can't exclude a vhd on Hyper-V from backup, this works only with vmdk on VMware.
