Export/Import multiple tapes

How does backup exec handle things when a job reqires multiple (like 2-4) tapes to be exported and then the second set imported?  I have an HP MSL2024 which only has 1 mail slot.

When you export multiple tapes, BE will alert you to remove the first tape after it is placed in the mailslot.  Once you remove the tape and respond to the alert, the next tape will be placed in the mailslot and another alert issued, and so on.  The same procedure holds for multiple tape import.
