Hi,

Just migrated BE server from 2012 to 15.

Got a alert after backup "Failed to load the configuration xml file alert"

• What this mean ?
• How to fix it ?

Not so understnad from the article.

Is this means unsupported disk must show this alert ?

It means that this alert is generated during a SDR-enabled full backup job, if the disk type is un-supported for another operation i.e. P2V.

This does not mean the backup is a failure. You can successfully backup & restore from this job. However, if you plan to do P2V conversion (Physical to Virtual), then it will not work due to the unsupported disk.
