We have 2 exchange 2010 servers in a DAG. after upgrading symantec to backup exec 2010 r3, i get this error message when i try to create a new backup job. The weird thing is that the backup jobs that were created prior the upgrade are running fine.
Failed to log on to: houstongrnway.domain.local
Logon account: System Logon Account The directory or file was not found, or could not be accessed.
houstongrnway is the dns name for our DAG. i've tried creating a new logon account but am still getting the same error message. Any ideas?

Actually, i was able to resolve this issue by going into exchange failover cluster and taking the file witness server offline and then bringing back online. thx

This is what is required to backup Exchange 2010...just make sure you conform.
