File Restore, slows down nightly scheduled backup

After running a simple file restore during the course of any day the nightly scheduled backup hangs or takes forever.

When I come back in the next morning after a restore the nightly backup has has barley done anything. I cancel the job and manually start a new one and every thing is fine. Any idea or reason why the scheduled bachup won't work only after we do a restore?

This has been reported numerous times, but I've never seen a definitve soultion given.

As a workaround, you could train yourself to do a short backup after every restore, and cancel it when it hangs.
