Hi,

We have a problem backing up a remote server. The server is on a different network to the Media Server, but has the remote agent installed on it. ALL IP Ports are allowed between the two servers. The Test Run completes successfully, yet the backups fail.

Error

Final error: 0xa00084f9 - A communications failure has occurred between the Backup Exec job engine and the remote agent.

In the network options we have it set to use any network adapter and there is only 1 enabled on the server.

Any ideas on what may be causing this problem?

All other servers on the same network as the media server work fine.
