This message was recieved when backing up the file server to folders on a different PC. This job is then duplicated to tape.

Windows 2000 server was upgraded to windows 2003 server on 4/6 but bacups jobs were fine until Monday, 4/18.

We do not use AOFO. Info on website related to the error does not apply.

Any ideas?

Post the part of the log where the error occurs. If this is a scheduled job and one of the selections no longer exists, it could cause this error.

Hello,

We apologise for the inconvenience caused because of
the delayed response. Please let us know if your issue
still persists. If yes, please refer the steps mentioned
below. If not, we will mark this case as assumed
answered and move it to answered questions pool.

Actually such errors occur due to files which are present in the selection list of the Backupjobm but are deleted from the system. Backup Exec tries to backup such files and ultimately throws such errors as they are deleted.

You can try to modify or create a new selection list for the backup job or edit the existing selection list. To make any modification / delete entries in the selection list, its advised to switch to the text format and delete the non-existing files.
