HP 8096 LTO5 & Backup Exec 2010 R2

Hello everybody...

I need to know how to set up the library  HP 8096 in Backup Exec  2010 R2 to get the best performance, because the person who was in charge of Backups previously, never didn't any change when he connected the library to the backup server. if anybody know where can i get information, i'll be very grateful
