HP surestore dat 40x6 autoloader

Our HP surestore dat 40x6 autoloader dose not works with Symantec Backup Exec 10d for Windows servers. When I inventory the tapes some media become bad media, some becomes blank media, others obtains media labels. But I cannot backup data even on tapes, which have media labels.

Could you tell us what exactly the problem is that you are facing?
What do you mean by cannot backup.

- Do you get an Error? Or an alert?
- Is the device not recognised?

Thank you for your reply.
Device is recognized.
When I am running backup job in the front panel of the autoloader appears �Write fail� and �Clean Me�. After cleaning the same is happening.

Are you able to run a quick erase on the media, you are trying to use for the backup?
Are there any errors in the system event logs?
