Thank you for your reply.Device is recognized. When I am running backup job in the front panel of the autoloader appears �Write fail� and �Clean Me�. After cleaning the same is happening.

Diagnostic test does not recognize the cartridge, but NTBackup see and use tapes correctly. We are using HP surestore dat tape drives. The problem is resolved when I cleaned the tape drive once more. But I am afraid to have such problems in the futur...

I think this is the same device. I have been using this device and tapes about a year and I had not such problems before. This problem appears when I cleaned my tape device.
