Having problem backup MS SQL installed on Windows 2003...

My BENT version is 8.60 Rev. 3878. The OS of my backup server is Windows 2000. Lately my company has a MS SQL installed on Windows 2003 Server. I have installed the agents.

When I tried to set up a DB backup job for this SQL server, the selection 'MS SQL Server' was not shown in the category.

Is there any procedure that I missed or it's just no support for SQL installed on Windows 2003?

Windows 2003 is not supported in 8.6

But you could try enableing Restrict Anonymous support on the Media Server and SQL server
