Help with 2010 R3

Hi,

I am hoping to get some help I have a Dell LT05 Tape drive connected to a ESXi VM and Symantec sees the drive fine. I can run an Inventory and everything works great. Problem is when I try and do an erase i get an "Incorrect Function" I have never seen this before. Can anyone maybe shed some light?

I will attach the error.

There are quite stringent conditions when you virtualise your media server and want to use a tape drive.  See this document.

If possible, you should use a physical machine for your media server.
