How IDR affect running oracle datadase

I have running oracle database without Veritas oracle agent software. I like to know how Full backup with IDR affect on running database. Can it harm or corrupt running database when full backup is running at same time?

Running a Full backup on the Oracle data directory without using the BE Oracle agent can cause issues - I have seen quite a few cases where it shutdowns the Oracle services or brings the Oracle databases offline - this is because BE tries to put a lock on the database files, which Oracle definitely doesn't want you to do.
