How do I make Remote Agent stop running???

We back up our 3 local servers and one server in our Las Vegas branch. We have trouble time to time with communications during backups, which I concluded may be related to the remote agent not haveing been installed.

Well, I installed the agent on our remote office's server; now the dang server won't back up at all! When backup exec attempts it, it errors out with code 0xe000fe3c, and says to refer to link V-79-57344-65084, which doesn't actually correlate to anything.

How do I make backup exec stop trying to use remote agent to connect to our remote server, which was working much better before I installed the dang thing???

Admin tools, Services, STOP the BE remote agent.

or uninstall it with add\remove programs

Please note that it is required to use the remote agent to backup the remote servers.

We do not recommned to backup the remote servers without installing remote agent.
