How do you update BE 11d without LiveUpdate

I've tried twice to update BE 11d using LiveUpdate.  LiveUpdate starts downloading the patches then stalls and tells me to try again later.  It's a real pain to schedule server downtime and not be able to complete the update. 

Is there a way to determine why LiveUpdate is not working?

I know that you can manually download and install the individual hot fixes.  LiveUpdate indicates that there are 10 updates available.   I'm having trouble determining which hot fixes apply to my installation. 

Can someone tell me the best way to search for them?

Are there any issues with installing them manually?

I also found that the live update accessed thru tools/options... does not work but the one accessed thru the help/about does complete successfully.  It found the previously downloaded updates and applied them - no additonal downloading.  I actually found this tip somewhere in the 2006 posts!

ok, so the above doesn't always work, either!! live update didn't work either way for hotfix 30. I ended up searching in symantec and then downloading it and double clicking to install. Would be nice if it was consistent!!
