How to change the Default Back Name of B2D000202 to something of my own

Hi people


Can any one please tell me how can I change the Default Name of Symantec 12.5 to my own. When I run a Full Backup or incremental backup it generate a number B2D000201 than increment  the last digit. Is there any way that I can have my own name instead?

You can change the B2D part - but it will always have to increment as it has to be able to handle what happens when your backup job is larger than one piece of media.

Chnage the B2D name is done via Tools --> Options --> Media Management, --> Media Label Configuration.
