Hi,

Some one has started restore job at my BE2010 R2.

There are some users that have access to the backup server.

How i can locate the user that has started the restore job without my information.

I mean specific joblog.

thanks

Whoever has access to the BE console can do any restore.  There is no further check or audit trail of who does the restore because this information is not available to BE.

As far as I know such feature does not exist in Backup Exec.

You will have to check the eventlog of the server of longon messages and/or implement auditing.

The information in the Job History will just show the user used to do the restore. It will not show the name of the User who has logged in Backup Exec and ran the restore.

Check the Audit logs in TOOLS>>AUDIT LOGS. This log will give you the information about which user ran the job.

Thanks,
