How to configure Autoloader tape drive

My media server is running Backup Exec 10.0 and believe I'm having the updated device drivers. The tape device is HP Surestore DAT 40x6 external (C5713A). The tapes in the media set is currently set to a 5-days overwrite protection.

How do I configure Backup Exec such that I do not have to manually reload from one of the five offline tapes after the online tape is near full after one successful backup session?

How can see if I'm having the latest Veritas device drivers.

Hello,
If you are using an autoloader, you just have to ensure that there exists overwritable media to continue the backup to.
It also depends on whether you have selected in the settings to overwrite recyclable media or scratch media.
