I haven't done this for a while but the way I would do it is
Create a new, empty Disk Storage Device on a volume that has enough space (and preferably where the volume has the same drive letter that the original location had)
Copy everything except the *.cfg files from your saved BEDATA folder to the BEDATA folder in this new storage
Then run an inventory and catalog job on the new storage
This process would use twice as much disk space - but would mean you still have the original copy of the BEDATA structure if something should go wrong.
However I think there may be other ways to achieve the same thing so this may not be the only method
