How to do lan-free SAN backup

I have:

2 clusters with 2 nodes in each
FC SAN storage
1 media server with backupexec 2010 r3
1 FC tapedrive

I am trying to find a lan-free backup solution. Has anyone got an idea?

Hi,

 

You'd need the following:

1. Full BE licenses for both sets of cluster nodes. Ie. 4 licenses.

2. Agent licenses for whatever applications you want to back up.

3. SAN SSO license - this will allow you to share the library between the clusters. This gets installed on your media server.

4. Zone the clusters to see the FC-attached library.
