How to make Media Intervention Alert NOT automatically reply

Hello,
I'd like to configure library import/export jobs that are scheduled to run regularly without ending automatically after 20 minutes with an "OK" response to the alert as they do by default. Or at least be able to significantly increase this 20 minute window.

We use an Exabyte VXA-2 Packetloader, which will report "Media Removal Locked by Host" if the media server is running without an active media intervention alert. I can't find a way to change the behavior of these events, any ideas?

Hi Craig,

From the Alerts pane enable Alert Category by selecting Alert Category Enabled. Then click Configure Alert Categories>
After selecting the required alert type, from the Category Property pane, clear the "Automatically clear alert after" option . this will stop the alerts from being automatically responded to.

Tried that, but as you should know the "Automatically clear alert" selection is grayed out for the Media Intervention alert type, and appears unchecked.

As mentioned in the technote this alert cannot be set to respond manually. This is by design. However you can place an enhancement request for this functionality.
