How to manage dlo data

I use dlo to store data onto a nas server. After i archive the dlo data to tape using backup exec, how do i free up the storage for the dlo data. In other words, after i archive dlo data to tape, i want to delete the dlo data, start from scratch.

So when the network storage location is getting low on disk space, i want to archive the dlo data to tape and delete the dlo data to free up space to give the user more storage space
