How to move BackupExec 10.x database to BackupExec 11.x on new Hardware

Dear All,

One of our server needs to be depreciated. Therefore we need to move all historical backup information from BackupExec 10.x to our new Hardware where we are running BackupExec 11.x (scratch installation).

Can you advise what the best practise is for achiving this?

However it would be a better idea if you move database across the same version.

In that case you would copy the data folder and use copy database from BE utility to copy the database over the new database.
