I'm experiencing problems while restoring items in Exchange;
I have a full backup and try to restore a (or multiple) emails to the same mailbox it was backuped to.
Some messages are restored okay but there are also a lot of messages that are restored with a body that only includes one letter.
I can see the subject sender attachments dates etc. But the body's are corrupt or not correctly restored.
Also when i open webmail, the whole body is visible and the message is ok, but from Outlook client only one letter is visible.
Does anyone have experience with this issue?
Backupexec server: WIndows 2003 STD SP2, | Backup Exec 11d rev.7170, hotfix 31,32,33,34 + SP2,
Exachange Server: Windows 2003 Sp1 | Exchange Enterprise 2003 SP2.
Symantec, please respond to this issue since this is a serious problem in the software.
