How to transfer backup jobs from BE10d server to a BE11d server?

We just built a new backup server which is running Backup Exec 11d.  Our current Backup server is running Backup Exec 10d.  How can I copy those jobs from the original server to the new server. I really dont want to have to recreate all the jobs on the new server if possible.

Hi Marc,

You would need to upgrade your old Backup Exec to 11d.

Then from the new server you would run BEutility and select Copy Database and point to the old database mdf and then the ldf.

Once that is complete your database will have been copied to the new Backup Exec install and you should be all set.
