How to upgrade Symantec Backup Exec 11d to Symantec Backup Exec 2010

Hi,

I have one server (W2K3 R2 Std x32 SP2) installed with Symantec Backup Exec 11d. I would like to upgrade the backup software to Symantec Backup Exec 2010. Can I upgrade it directly from 11d to 2010?

If cannot upgrade directly and need to do the fresh installation, is there any ways so that the current configuration can be exported and imported back?

Yes you can upgrade from BE 11d to BE 2010. Just run the installation of BE 2010 on top of it and it will automatically detect that 11d is present and will upgrade it to BE 2010.
